Privacy Notice

This notice covers gyminstallationservices.equipment. The data controller is Gym Installations Limited, Shropshire, United Kingdom. To ask anything about this notice, or to ask us to delete what we hold about you, email gyminstalls@gmail.com or ring 07465 430397.

What we collect

If you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number, item number and message you type into it. The phone number and item number are optional. We do not ask for anything else, and there is no account to create.

If you ring or email instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that call or message, in the same way any business does.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and, if it turns into a job, to quote and arrange it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us about buying equipment, and we need your details to reply. We do not use it for marketing and we do not send newsletters.

Where it goes

The form is submitted to this website's host, Cloudflare, which passes it straight to our enquiry inbox at gyminstalls@gmail.com. It is not stored in a database on the site. Cloudflare processes the submission in transit and acts as our processor for that step.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted from the inbox within twelve months. Where an enquiry becomes an order, we keep the records for six years, because HMRC requires it.

Spam protection

The form carries a hidden field that automated scripts fill in and people do not. Nothing about you is collected by it.

Analytics and cookies

This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies at all, which is why there is no cookie banner on it.

Photographs

Photographs of equipment are taken by us. Location data and other camera metadata are stripped from every image before it is published.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email gyminstalls@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
